The Launch Party of 13th Chapter : Athena's Deadly Weapons

Following our launch party, held privately at our ake ake Chapel @ Siam Center 1st Floor, on 25-26 May 2018, We have met several VIP clients and press, medial people in the fashion world. We are so happy to have introduced our latest chapter 'Athena's Deadly Weapons'.

As appeared in several past chapters of ake ake, key influence of this “'Athena's Deadly Weapons” collection lies beneath the rather horrifying stories of the Middle Ages’ Torturing instruments and their executions during 500-1500AD. Many actual torturing devices and artefacts play a vital part in shaping this chapter’s design direction including the Chair of torture, Chain Restraints, and Catherine Breaking Wheel.

The story of this chapter also portrays a scene of a traitor being tortured and captivated. Hence, the main symbols we shall see across this new collection will include ‘Spears’ and ‘Spikes’ which clearly epitomise the idea of being tortured and the great pain.
